Materials Recycling Logistics

Experience taught us a few things about aerospace materials ready to enter the recycling process:

  • They are not always in the right location to be processed
  • The different streams following sorting may need to be processed in differing locations
  • The nature, shape and size of the materials can demand special packaging and transport

AELS has built up know-how in the transportation of aerospace materials, even complete aircraft, and sees this as an added value to our process. We can arrange swift and safe transport to the desired location. We also employ our network to help keep the distance traveled to a minimum and thus again minimizing your environmental impact.

As part of the logistics step AELS monitors the material. From the moment it leaves your facility until it is sorted and destroyed, AELS has checks and balances in place to further decrease the chance for bogus parts.
