Aviation End-of-Life Legislation

After 11 months a research study conducted as a master thesis study at AELS in cooperation with the Erasmus University Rotterdam was finished. The objective of this research was to study the anticipated impacts of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) policy on current end-of-life handling activities. This research found that when applied across Europe by the European Commission or on a global scale the EPR policy is expected to bring forward beneficial environmental, economic and social impacts.
