The Aviation Week & Space Technology went in search of the talented individuals who are rising starts in the global aerospace and defense industry. The purpose is to list the 40 most successful entrepreneurs under the age of 40.
AELS finished the disassembly and dismantling of an Airbus A320 commisioned by FL Technics. The aircraft, build in 1992, was disassembled on the base airfield in Woensdrecht. Some of the components were disassembled for alternative re-use, the remaining material was recycled.

Derk-Jan van Heerden of AELS will be joining the "Option for older Aircraft" panel at UBM Aviation’s Aircraft and Engine Finance and Leasing Americas Conference.
Bombardier Aerospace Netherlands BV signed an aerospace materials recycling contract with AELS. AELS will provide an all-in-one service for their redundant aerospace material. This means material will be recycled but also mutilated beyond economical repair to avoid bogus parts.
This year the AFRA annual meeting will be on 24-26 June, in Seattle, USA.
AELS started the disassembly and dismantling of an A320 aircraft for FL Technics with S/N 391. This project is executed at the base facility of AELS in Woensdrecht. Roughly 950 components will be disassembled after which AELS will dismantle the aircraft.
