  • Two interviews were published this month in Dutch magazines. The first was published in 'Technisch Weekblad', which is published weekly for Dutch engineers.

  • AELS is very pleased to announce our membership of AFRA. AFRA, Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association, is a global organization formed to improve aircraft retirement practices. The Boeing Company initiated the founding of the association, which was formalised June first, 2006.

  • AELS is currently working on a project at Siegerland Airport in Germany. AELS will arrange the disposal of the leftovers of an Embraer 120, that was parked on the airport for a few years. AELS is hired by Allegiance Air to arrange this.

  • AELS is an exhibitor at the AviationWeek MRO Europe Conference and Exhibition, 25th and 26th of October . This is a trade event for commercial aviation industry. You as visitor and friend of AELS can find us at the exhibit, in hall 9 stand 1005.

  • The Dutch business magazine Bizz published an online article on AELS on their website, bizz.nl. Both the article and the website are in Dutch.

  • The internet news site www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl, focused on aerospace news, published an article about AELS. Both the website and article are in the Dutch language.

  • AELS wrote an article for the new online community, aviation platform. This platform is established to provide a service for the aviation industry wherein researchers, experts and students can exchange knowledge.

  • In cooperation with the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands, AELS finished a research in the field of end-of-life aircraft (ELA). The goal of the project was to determine what the effect will be of an extended producer responsibility (EPR) in the aircraft manufacturing industry.
