AELS
AELS, afkorting van Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions, biedt een volledige ‘end-of-life’ oplossing voor commerciële vliegtuigen, waarbij onze core business het verkopen van onderdelen uit onze aangekochte vliegtuigen is. Al bijna 20 jaar zijn wij aan het groeien in een unieke niche van de luchtvaartindustrie en inmiddels staan we bekend als een toonaangevende en duurzame speler in de after-market voor vliegtuigonderdelen. Momenteel heeft AELS een locatie voor ontmanteling en warehouse op Twente Airport en daarnaast een kantoor in Rotterdam.

Jouw uitdaging
Stel je voor: componenten worden door je collega’s uit onze vliegtuigen verwijderd en dan ben jij aan de beurt – hoe haal je zoveel mogelijk waarde uit deze componenten? Welke onderdelen laat je hercertificeren? Welk repair station past het best bij deze repair? Welke documentatie moet precies mee? En hoe zorg je dat alles soepel loopt, zodat het onderdeel zo snel mogelijk weer luchtwaardig op voorraad ligt?
Als Repair Manager ben jij eigenaar van dat hele traject. Je combineert technische interesse met commercieel inzicht en weet precies hoe je het maximale uit onze voorraad haalt. Je schakelt dagelijks met repair stations, collega’s van Sales, Warehouse & Logistics en het Repair team en houdt grip op kosten, doorlooptijden en kwaliteit.
Daarnaast bouw je een stevig netwerk en onderhoud je contact met vele internationale repair stations en bezoek je internationale beurzen om nieuwe contacten te maken en huidige relaties te versterken.
Wat neem je mee?
- HBO-opleiding, bij voorkeur richting luchtvaart (bijv. HBO Aviation Studies) of vergelijkbaar.
- Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en Engels.
- Je bent commercieel scherp, kwaliteitsgericht, secuur en neemt verantwoordelijkheid.
- Je vindt het leuk om te schakelen met veel partijen en je bouwt makkelijk aan een netwerk.
- Je hebt oog voor detail, en werkt gestructureerd.
- Je werkt graag samen, bent nieuwsgierig en pakt initiatief als je kansen ziet.
- Goede beheersing van Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Wat bieden wij jou?
- Salarisrange: € 3.197 – € 4.517 bruto per maand op fulltime basis (inschaling afhankelijk van ervaring).
- 25 vakantiedagen op basis van 40 uur per week.

Are you the Repair Manager who is curious and proactive in identifying which components are worth recertifying —and who can tightly manage the repair process from quotation to “airworthy” status? Then we’re looking for you!

Your Challenge
Imagine this: components are removed from our aircraft by your colleagues, and then it’s your turn — how do you extract the maximum value from those components? Which parts are worth recertifying? Which repair station is the best fit for each repair? What documentation needs to accompany the component? And how do you ensure everything runs smoothly, so the part is back in stock as airworthy as quickly as possible?
As Repair Manager, you own this entire process. You combine technical interest with commercial insight and know exactly how to maximize the value of our inventory. On a daily basis, you liaise with repair stations and collaborate closely with colleagues from Sales, Warehouse & Logistics, and the Repair team, while maintaining control over costs, lead times, and quality.
In addition, you build and maintain a strong international network of repair stations and attend international trade shows to establish new contacts and strengthen existing relationships.
What do you bring?
- A bachelor’s degree (HBO level), preferably in an aviation-related field (e.g. Aviation Studies) or a comparable discipline.
- Fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Commercially astute, quality-driven, detail-oriented, and takes ownership of responsibilities.
- Enjoys working with multiple stakeholders and is able to build and maintain a strong network with ease.
- Has a strong eye for detail and works in a structured and organized manner.
- A team player who is curious, proactive, and takes initiative when opportunities arise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

- Salary range: € 3.197 – € 4.517 gross per month based on full-time employment (classification depending on experience).
